sorry about the big f*ck-off watermark,
i'm just a parent getting paranoid about my babies.
probably won't be there forever, just till i give up caring.

this is a blown-up version of 'Emaline', a request completed for a customer at Surreal Studios. the completed copy is only to be used by Raen, and if it is seen to be used by anybody else there will be trouble.

muse: Raen said to make emaline somewhat outgoing and 'eager', and her quote mentioned something about white-tipped waves. i had already found the grassy ethereal background when i realised this, so decided to try drawing a small flood thing into the background. i'm quite proud of it, seeing as it wasn't there in any shape or form in the beginning. drew in all the foam/waves and everything. -beam-

the horse was one of the suggested stock horses Raen wanted, so i found several pictures of this horse and chose the one i thought fit best. drew in the whole mane and tail, without a tablet. grrrrrrrrr. adjusted the eye coloration also, somewhat. the bird came later - Raen had said she didn't want anything dark, and at that stage it looked as if Emaline was running from the waves in panic. so i added in the bird, so that it looked as though she was not running from the waves but in fact running toward/chasing the bird (out of fun).

then, a couple of flare textures and voila. done-zo.

Hi, this is Raen.

I didn't want anything changed on it, I only wanted two parts cropped out, and I wanted to use this version instead of the one with text on it.
I did up a version of what I want done, pretty sure it would have been easier if I done it myself, but whatever. Since it's only small crops, I don't want any text on them, so don't watermark/sig/etc. is up too much.

the unfortunate legal bind to making photomanipulations is that the credits have to be on the image somewhere - otherwise it's illegal to use off of DA. so the credits that are on the version at surreal will still have to be on each crop somewhere, otherwise they cannot be used whatsoever on the internet. it is somewhat of a contract between manipulator and stock provider, and i intend to respect it at the same time as providing you with the closest possible versions to what you ask for.

i'm sorry if you find it inconvenient, but it's a condition of ordering a picture at a studio unfortunately.
i'll get right onto cropping the image and placing credits, and when they are finished (sometime tonight hopefully) i will upload them to photobucket and note you the links.

oh, yeah. i know about all that jazz. sorry, it was super late when i replied and i had a concussion, so. haha.
all i meant was i don't want it to be really super visible, like overlay it or something? know what i mean?

yep i know what you mean, i will try and make it as invisible as possible while still readable enough that the links can be followed. apologies, it's not done yet as i pretty much passed out last night but i will hopefully get it done this morning.
